His Excellency Yves Rossier, Swiss Ambassador to Russia, visited the production facilities of the SST Group
The Ambassador, His Excellency Yves Rossier, was accompanied by Lorenz Widmer and Daria Shevchuk from the Swiss Business Hub. The delegation visited the SST Group headquarters and plant in Mytishchi (Moscow region) and gained an insight into the heating technologies manufactured there, which are exported to 60 markets worldwide.
Mr. Michael Strupinsky, founder and CEO of SST Group, guided the Swiss guests through the high-tech production sites and presented the wide range of products - from air conditioning solutions for the home to heating systems for offshore fields.
Especially frost protection and snow melting systems based on electric heating cables, which are interesting for Switzerland with its snow-covered mountain peaks even in the summer months, attracted the attention of the Swiss delegation. The frost protection and snow-melting systems are intended to prevent the freezing of gutters (formation of icicles) and the freezing of open spaces in winter, thus increasing the safety of pedestrian and car traffic.
Another important aspect for the use of the systems is the reduction of the snow load on roofs.
